The company announced the news of the resignation of David Reeder and praised him for his impressive work at Lexmark.
Lexmark made the announcement on 14 June and said that the resignation of President and Chief Executive Officer David Reeder was “for personal reasons” and would take immediate effect.
The management team will lead the company until a successor can be found with Brock Saladin, Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer and Allen Waugerman, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer in charge.
In 2015 Reeder began his contract with Lexmark as Chief Financial Officer and was made President and CEO in November 2016. The company stated that “change of leadership at Lexmark will not impact the impending sale of Lexmark Enterprise Software”.
Mickey Kantor, Chairman of the Lexmark Board of Directors, said: “All of the Lexmark family want to thank David Reeder for his impressive efforts as CEO of the company, and as CFO as well. We wish him and his family the best in the future. The Board of Directors, investors and all Lexmark executives are deeply committed to the success of our company and our priorities for the future. The changes we are experiencing will only make us stronger.”
Kantor added: “Lexmark remains focused on delivering industry-leading products and services to customers, while profitably growing our business with an emphasis on worldwide expansion.”
