The manufacturer has opened a second subsidiary in Canada for its Thermal Transfer Ribbons.
Armor said that its sole motivation was: “to support the dynamism of its partners through ever greater efficiency and proximity” and since it established its subsidiary in Cincinnati USA in 1999 the company has made a place for itself in the US market by “offering its expertise developed in Europe since the early 1980’s”.
The company said with its new Canadian subsidiary, Armor is the first manufacturer of Thermal Transfer film to invest locally in ribbon slitting and distribution activities, thereby becoming the largest producer of rolls on the Canadian market.
Canada’s market was covered by Armor USA previously but recently Barry Bowsher was made the Regional Manager. Armor has installed local manufacturing facilities and is offering “significant support to its Canadian partners helping them to achieve their growth objectives”.
