OKI sees sales and profits decline

Aug 1, 2017

The OEM has published their Q1 results of the financial year 2018 which ends 31 March 2018.

Oki said that its business performance turned out approximately as planned though both net sales and operating income decreased year-on-year.

Combined net sales for the first quarter were ¥90.4 billion ($0.82 billion/ €0.69 billion), down 2.8 percent on the same period of the previous financial year.

For printer sales for office printing sales decreased anticipated since OKI is looking for a strategic transformation toward focusing on industry printings. Operating income for the printing division decreased due to the decline in sales volume.
