Beta Solutions GmbH files for bankruptcy

German based Beta Solutions GmbH (Beta) recently filed for bankruptcy after three years of rapid growth and was forecasting €50 million ($58 million) of sales in 2017.

Beta was established in 2012 and focused on the highly competitive OEM printer accessories, computer components and hardware market and between 2013 and 2015 sales grew rapidly from €6 million ($7 million) to €24 million ($28 million). In 2016 Beta reorganised its sales and logistics organisation and introduced copier toners sales and launched a full online web shop achieving €37 million ($43 million) in sales for 2016.

Beta exhibited at Paperworld in January this year, their third year of exhibiting and were very busy and discussed plans to push 2017 revenues to €50 million ($58 million) and a newly created Beta Solutions Benelux BV.
