New Head Quarters for M2

Aug 17, 2017

The UK-based Managed Print Services company has announced the move to a new Head Quarter building.

M2, the national managed print services (MPS) company confirmed its future commitment to Manchester with a new 10-year lease on 10,959 sq ft of office space for a new HQ in Trafford Park, Brightgate House, which the company will be moving into by 4 September.

This Manchester HQ complements a network of M2 offices in London, Bracknell, Bristol, Wakefield and Glasgow and SCC’s 16 UK and 40 Global offices.

After three years of growth following the acquisition of M2 in 2014 by SCC, a European independent IT services company, further growth is forecast at M2.

With open plan facilities and the use of the state of the art technology and software offered by both M2 and SCC, M2 will be well placed to demonstrate to customers the working efficiencies these enable. With the move to Brightgate House M2 will also maximise their use of unified communications and video conferencing connecting M2 to SCC’s European locations in France, Spain and Romania.

M2’s new HQ in Brightgate House complements their 23K sq ft operational centre at Millington Road in Trafford Park taking their total commitment in Trafford to 34K sq ft.

M2 CEO, John Taylor commented: “I’m delighted that M2 are committing to Head Quarters in Manchester – our base for the 20+ years that M2 has been in operation. It would have been so easy when we were acquired by SCC in 2014 to relocate the business HQ to the SCC Global Campus in Birmingham but in conjunction with SCC, our parent, the decision was made to remain in Manchester.

“This decision is indicative of SCC’s confidence in M2 as an ambitious and thriving specialist, MPS business. As we move into our flagship HQ it will serve as a reminder to the North West business community that this market leader has the drive and ambition to grow in the North West as much as it has done nationally, particularly in the South over recent years.”
