Aug 22, 2017

The OEM expanded their PIXMA Home Office range with adding two new 4-in-1 models, the PIXMA TR7550 and PIXMA TR8550.

PIXMA TR7550 and PIXMA TR8550 new key features include the 20 sheet Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), Auto Duplex Printing, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)1, large touch screens,  enhanced User Interface (UI) and a new compact.

The PIXMA TR7550 and PIXMA TR8550 have larger touch screens, 3.0 inch and 4.3 inch screens respectively and the front panel can be tilted to suit the user’s eye line.

The Auto Duplex Print feature can be activated at the touch of a button saving time and paper. The printers also feature two-way paper feeding enabling printing from both the rear and front of the printer meaning different sized paper can be loaded at one time. The paper feeds hold up to 100 sheets of plain paper each.

The Document Removal Reminder feature notifies the user when a scanned document is left on the scanning unit. For management of files, the 20 sheet ADF feature allows users to scan larger documents in a single operation.

PIXMA TR7550 and PIXMA TR8550 feature Wi-Fi connectivity. PIXMA Cloud Link is compatible with the range enabling working users to print and scan documents from and to online services such as GoogleDrive, Evernote and Dropbox for increased speed and share-ability. Users can access and store files using PIXMA Cloud Link via the Canon PRINT App or the printer screen, allowing remote work.

PIXMA TR8550 can be connected to an Ethernet cable for the printer to be wired to a whole network. PIXMA TR8550 also has a built-in SD card slot which so users can scan and print directly to and from the SD card.

The new range holds single ink cartridges and features a Hybrid Ink System. With fade resistant inks PIXMA TR7550 and PIXMA TR8550 offer simultaneous use of dye and pigment based inks.

The printers are compatible with three sized ink cartridges (STD, XL and XXL).
