The Malaysian-based toner manufacturer has announced a 2-year partnership with Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM).
Jadi Imaging Holdings Berhad announced that the company had agreed on a 2-year partnership with UiTM on 21 August 2017, effective from 1 September 2017 to 31 August 2019.
The partnership consists of two elements. Firstly technical consultation by UiTM, whereby Associate Professor Dr Chan Chin Han from UiTM will act as Jadi’s Technical Consultant. The scope of work would include technical consultation on the emulsion aggregation process for JADI’s chemically-produced toner. The consultation would also extend to polymer or latex for coating.
And secondly, a research grant is given to UiTM. Jadi is offering a total grant of RM63,000 ($14,735/ €12,495) for a PhD project, whereby Associate Professor Dr Chan Chin Han from UiTM is appointed as the principal investigator in this research. Jadi will be represented by Mr Hazwan Bin Harmain as a part-time PhD candidate and as the member in this project.
