The OEM will be adding to its key accounts sales division in order to respond to growing demand for products, services and business solutions.

Ricoh, a long-established business that “provides document services, consulting, software and hardware to businesses around the world” currently employs 2, 300 people in the UK across 30 nationwide locations.

Now the company is launching an ambitious expansion plan that sees Ricoh “looking to recruit a significant number of sales professionals over the next two-quarters to maintain and grow its market-leading position in the office technology and commercial printing sectors.”

Ricoh UK’s national sales director for key accounts and head of additive manufacturing, Ian Simmonds, commented, “I’m excited by Ricoh’s plans for growth and the opportunity to help more customers in this changing world of work. We’re seeing that UK small and medium-sized businesses are actively investing in digital technologies to increase their revenues and gain new customers. Ricoh has been a market leader in this field for many years and that is set to continue with our extensive portfolio, innovation, and ambition.”

He continued, “Our people and our approach are what makes us successful. Whilst others see challenges, we see opportunity. We have a partnership ethos, combining the best team expertise, technology, and insights for our outstanding outcomes. Our new recruits will need to demonstrate these values in order to succeed and support our growing customer base.”
