Xerox and Alamana Industries will be introducing 29 new printers and multifunction devices to the Kuwaiti market
Intelligent Tech Channels reported on the corporation’s latest forays into the Middle Eastern market, describing the introduction of these 29 models as part of Xerox’s “continuous endeavour to deploy smarter document solution strategies”.
The printers and devices should be available to Kuwaiti consumers by the end of the year and will include “simple and secure on-the-go capabilities, cloud connectivity, and access to productivity boosting features and apps”.
These include the ConnectKey portfolio, which “transforms traditional printing devices into smart, connected workplace assistants that reflect the evolving needs of today’s businesses. Personalised workflows, one-touch access to the cloud and multi-layered security features are the new print, copy and fax.”
Ayman Mattar, General Manager of Alamana Industries, commented, “We constantly focus on increasing customer productivity, efficiency and innovative approach towards how work is being done. At this historical launch, we are introducing a family of products in a variety of sizes, speeds and capabilities to match the needs of small-and-medium-sized businesses as well as large enterprises.” He went on to add, “The key highlight of this launch is increased connectivity and secure workplace flexibility. As mobile and cloud technologies are crucial to the evolution of IT environments, we strive to stay one step ahead of document technology development because innovation is always our first priority.”
Pui Chi-Li is the Head of Marketing for the Middle East and Africa at Xerox. She explained, “The launch of ConnectKey not only promotes innovation in the workplace but also strengthens Xerox’s positioning in the Middle East region. Kuwait represents growing potential in document technology and, by strengthening our product offerings, we are enabling our key partners and expanding our channel network. Channel partners strive on technologies that empower them to expand their client base and grow their businesses.”
There are two series being released: the Xerox VersaLink and Xerox AltaLink. VersaLink models “are designed for small workgroups and distributed teams and include 19 printers and multifunction printers” while the AltaLink series feature “10 MFPs designed for larger workgroups or print volume needs.”
