This latest generation of EcoTank ITS printers feature a new and improved design that includes front ink tank and easy-to-use bottles.
This week Muscat Daily reported on the launch of the latest wave of Epson EcoTank printers in the country. These new ITS models (L4150, L4160, L6160, L6170, L6190) “feature a major development”, namely, a front ink tank and new and improved bottle design.
Epson Middle East’s director of sales, Jason Whiley, explained, “Our original ink tank system broke away from printing conventions; it came with a substantial quantity of ink and removed the need for cartridges thanks to an integrated ultra-high-capacity ink tank fitted to the side. The latest models continue to offer the same benefits to customers while also being even easier-to-use and more compact. There are now more models across the collection, which covers home, photo, home office and small office users.”
This new generation of Epson printers feature a distinctive look and “are easier to use than ever before”, as their ink tank has been moved to the front to ensure a more compact design, and make it easier to check how much ink is left.
The modified design also features an improved ink filling system that has been carefully tailored to reduce the risk of ink spillages. This has been achieved with the implementation of easy-to-open, easy-pour bottles and the addition of a mechanism that “ensures the right tanks are filled with the corresponding colour.”
These cartridge-free printers offer reduced costs of an average of 90%, courtesy of its included high-yield inks “and ultra-high-capacity ink tank” and also save consumers time as they can “go much longer between refills.”
Each printer model in the series comes with a 3-year warranty subject to terms and conditions.
