Two industry stalwarts come together as Katun announces it is being acquired by Taiwan base General Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd.
Katun, one of the world’s leading suppliers of alternative imaging supplies has announced that Taiwan based General Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd. (“GPI”), of Taiwan has signed an agreement to acquire Katun from Monomoy Capital Partners. The transaction requires the approval of GPI’s shareholders and regulatory approval by the Taiwanese government.

In connection with the pending transaction, Robert Moore will remain as President and CEO of Katun. Katun’s management team will also remain in place and work closely with the GPI team to leverage each organization’s strengths to the benefit of our customers.
