Apex Microelectronics has released a range of replacement chips designed for use in OKI’s B731 series.
Earlier this month Apex unveiled a new range of replacement chips compatible with OKI’s B731 series of printers, which were launched in 2013 in Europe, the Middle East, the Americas and the Asia-Pacific region.
These newly created chips broke the block caused by firmware updates and can work on both the printers installed with firmware version A02.50-0-4 which was released in June 2017, and printers that feature the old firmware.
The features of these chips include:
- ASIC design with consistent performance
- Stronger firmware resistant ability
- Can work with both old and new firmware
