Epson’s SureColor P5000
The imaging giant will host demonstrations and presentations at a New York trade show.
The upcoming PhotoPlus Expo in New York City will provide Epson with the platform to showcase its most recent advancements in imaging technology for the photographic community.
The company will be demonstrating its new SureColour P5000 printer, and inviting attendees to bring high-resolution files in order to experience its output first-hand. The P5000 leverages the advanced Epson PrecisionCore® TFP® printhead, and the 10-color Epson UltraChrome® HDX® pigment ink set with new Orange and Green ink. Epson claim the printer offers clearer, sharper images and – thanks to its design – improved dust and static control, offering enhanced performance and reduced nozzle maintenance.
In tandem, Epson will also be exhibiting the Epson Print Layout software, which has been designed with the aim of simplifying print and colour management workflows for photographers. The software incorporates a linear design to provide printer selection, layout and colour management settings, as well as providing a live Advanced Black-and-White mode output preview. It is compatible with Epson’s SureColour P-Series printers, and Epson will set up a dedicated station for attendees to use Print Layout alongside the new P5000.
Throughout the show, Epson will also host the Epson Print Academy, in which professional photographers and printing experts will give a series of presentations and demonstrations on digital printing workflows and file optimisation, using the P5000.
There will also be an opportunity to purchase Epson’s high-quality paper line, Legacy Papers.
PhotoPlus Expo runs from the 26th to the 28th of October.
