James Imaging Systems Acquires Ross Imaging

Oct 20, 2017

The document imaging systems provider has expanded for the third time in four years.

Brookfield-based James Imaging Systems has announced the acquisition of the Ross Imaging LLC’s Wisconsin operations, reports Rick Barrett in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

James Imaging Systems, which started in 1977, becomes the owner and operator of Ross Imaging’s Sheboygan and Appleton offices; they will continue operating as Ross Imaging but become wholly-owned divisions of James.

Tom Tegeder, president of James Imaging Systems, said: “Ross Imaging has built a strong presence in the Sheboygan and Appleton areas, and this acquisition puts us in a positive position to grow our business beyond our base in the metropolitan Milwaukee area.”

Tegeder also said he expects all of the Ross Imaging-Wisconsin employees to be given the opportunity to stay, under the new ownership.

“I chose James Imaging Systems because it was important that our customers be assisted by a Wisconsin family-owned business that is dedicated to the local community,” explained Rich Cucco, managing partner and founder at Imagetec, which previously owned Ross Imaging.

This acquisition marks the third expansion in recent times for James, following its 2013 purchase of Laser Tech Systems, Waukesha, and its acquisition of Union Grove’s Acme Office Equipment earlier this year.

Financial terms of the latest acquisition were undisclosed.
