Another branch of the office supplies chain is to shut its doors next week.
Office supplies retailers Staples is set to close the doors for good on another of its branches, reports the Chronicle Tribune.
The store, in Marion, Indiana, will shut for the final time on Saturday the 11th of November, according to Staples’ public relations specialist Kaleigh Sands. All employees at the branch were notified of the impending closure in September.
It follows the closure of 350 Staples stores over the last five years, including two that officially shut on the 4th of November, in Northampton, Massachusetts, and Christiansburg, Virginia.
Plans were announced in Spring this year to close a total of 70 stores this year, 4.5 percent of its 1,600 total.
