The South-African based ink supplier has now fully acquired its partner, Continental Printing Inks/Eagle Ink Systems, via investment in remaining shares.

Flint Group revealed that the South African ink supplier has expanded its African business via the full acquisition of its joint venture partner, Continental Printing Inks/Eagle Ink Systems. The two companies had previously formed an alliance back in September 2015. Now, as of 24 October 2017, Flint Group has become “sole owner of the entity.”

“The management of Flint Group is extremely pleased with the growth we have seen in South Africa since our partnership with Continental and Eagle Ink Systems started in late 2015.  I credit this success to the employees of Continental, Eagle and Flint Group,” said Doug Aldred, President of Flint Group Packaging.

He continued, “Throughout the transition, our combined team of experts were dedicated to providing unmatched support to customers in the region.  Continued best in class service and highest quality products have remained our top priority.  As a result of this collaboration, we have already realised new business opportunities and have expanded our position in South Africa.”
