Quality Save strike Midshire deal

Nov 8, 2017

The England-based discount retailer has had HP MFPs installed across its network of stores.

Technology provider Midshire has installed HP M477 FDW multifunction printers at all 23 Quality Save stores across Yorkshire and the North West of England, Isabel Riley reports for The Big UK Newsroom.

The discount retailer, which employs over 600 people, initially wished for a trial at just three branches; however, it then commissioned the provider to install MFPs, and Lenovo laptops, across its entire company.

The MFPs are equipped with wireless capability and duplex full-colour printing as standard. Riley reports the move will allow Quality Save’s employees to work collaboratively and serve customers without worrying about dated or unreliable technology. The same solution was installed at all sites, meaning parts and refill cartridges are consistent across the company.

Ric Rudkin, Quality Save’s MD, said: “As a company that operates in a fast-paced environment, it was important that we selected a provider that could take care of everything, allowing us to focus our efforts on business development. We found that with Midshire, they send us ink and toner refills before we run out, proactively service our machines so they don’t break, and expert Stuart Carruthers is always checking-in to make sure we have no issues.”

Speaking about the partnership, Midshire’s Stuart Carruthers said: “Both myself and Midshire are very pleased to be working with such a recognisable brand throughout the North West.”
