The US technology solution and service provider has linked up with the OEM to help combat the issue of hunger in the United States.
This week MNJ Technologies revealed that it has united with HP Inc to launch a program that will “donate a portion of their HP ink and toner sales to a local food bank.” This move on the part of the two companies is a response to the disturbing revelation that 49 million Americans “struggle to put food on the table” and 1 in 6 are faced with hunger throughout the country.
The donations from MNJ and HP Inc benefited the Midwest Food Bank, which serves a variety of functions when it comes to combatting hunger. These include using “a fleet of trucks to deliver food to those in need”, “distributing food to the outreach branches of MBF”, “taking care of those in immediate danger with the help of the Salvation Army” and through sending raw ingredients to people suffering from hunger and from nutrition-related deficiencies.
Through its charitable partnership with HP, MNJ Technologies “has been able to donate enough money to feed over 3, 000 mouths.”
“We welcome opportunities to team up with our strategic vendors to give back and make a difference in our community,” said Susan Kozak, President of MNJ. “So many Americans struggle to put food on the table; we are fortunate to have the ability to support our fellow Americans during this holiday season.”
