The OEM’s latest model promises “reliable multifunction performance at an affordable price.”

Ricoh have unveiled the new SP C261SFNw colour laser multifunction printer, aimed at the small-medium business (SMB) workplace, where according to Ricoh “technology has to earn its place.”

That condition accounts for the MFP’s compact dimensions, although the Japanese OEM describes its productivity and reliability as “gratifyingly big,” and says it is “equipped to smooth your progress day after day.”

Amongst its qualities, the C261SFNw includes a 21ppm output, with a 2400 x 600 dpi resolution; a 751-page paper capacity; and a 4.3” touchscreen display allowing the user to manage copy, print, scan and fax jobs with ease.

Ricoh state that the MFP’s stand-out features is the Single Pass Document Feeder, enable swift scanning of both sides of a document in a single pass, which accelerates the copying, scanning and faxing process, as well as enabling the user to “avoid time-consuming errors and reduce the risk of damage to originals.”

The printer has been Energy Star certified, and given silver EPEAT status. Ricoh’s specifications state that it has a warm-up time of 30 seconds maximum, and a recovery time from sleep mode of 29 seconds.
