The strategic partnership between the supplier and the trading bloc widens access to the label printing market.
RGF has announced a new strategic partnership with the United States-based supplier UniNet, opening access to the digital label printing market. RGF, the Europe-wide network of trading and industrial partners, has now secured access for its 58 members through the exclusive agreement.
The partnership follows a chain of existing strategic partnerships for RGF, who have recently allied with Epson, as well as DPR and Nakagawa, further expanding the range of digital label printing solutions for its members.
The Managing Director of UniNet Europe, Zoltan Matyas, has said he expects the collaboration to boost development and growth for the label market, particularly owing to RGF members’ expertise.
Thomas Meurers, RGF Managing Director, said: “As a network that sees itself as a multiplier in the B2B market, we have the task of providing our trading members with solutions that complement or expand their business models. And, moreover, to give our industrial partners new approaches to modify and improve their products. Last but not least: To being in the core competences of the RGF joint venture, in the first step our colour competence for the label market.”
UniNet, which has its European office in Barcelona, has recently unveiled the iColour series, which delivers full-colour digital roll-to-roll label printing systems. The systems – iColour700 (up to 215mm roll width) and iColour900 (up to 330mm) – are available in neon colours and are said to boast “maximum flexibility.”
