MPS specialist, M2, has revealed that it is opening a state-of-the-art new headquarters at Trafford Park.
The company has officially opened the doors to Brightgate House, its new 10,959sqft headquarters, after announcing its 10-year lease of the property back in August.
This move on the part of M2 follows three years of “record organic growth” since it was acquired in 2014 by SCC, the biggest independent IT services company in Europe.
The formal opening of M2’s new HQ took place on Tuesday 21 November 2017, when M2 “played host to current and future customers, MPS analysts, suppliers and colleagues.” The event included a Technology Showcase with OEMS HP, Ricoh, Canon and Nuance demonstrating their latest technology and workflow solutions, while M2 itself showcased its Digital Transformation and Print Security Services.
This was then followed by the official opening of the building by Sir Peter Rigby, Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive of Rigby Group PLC, the parent company of SCC.
M2, which has been based in Manchester for the last two decades, made finding a new base in the city a priority, “complementing the network of M2 offices in London, Bracknell, Bristol, Wakefield and Glasgow, and SCC’s 16 UK and 40 global offices.”
M2 CEO, John Taylor commented, “Today’s event is a celebration of M2’s continued development and commitment to reinvesting in people, in capability, and in a suite of new Value Propositions that are driving forward a new MPS landscape. It’s been fantastic to host key partners and showcase to our valued customers the type of technology and solutions we can provide – and all from our new HQ in Manchester, M2’s home for 20+ years.”
As well as Brightgate House, M2 also has an operational centre in Millington Road, which takes “its total commitment to Trafford to 34k sqft.” Additionally, its total number of employees has grown by 56 percent since January 2014.
