Julia Uherek has been named Group Show Director for consumer goods fairs by Messe Frankfurt.
Messe Frankfurt has appointed Julia Uherek Group Show Director for consumer goods fairs, effective from today.
In her new position, Uherek will be responsible for the “strategic orientation” of the Paperworld, Creativeworld, Christmasworld, and Beautyworld trade fairs. Julia Uherek succeeds Cordelia von Gymnich, who will now be concentrating on her new responsibilities as the head of Messe Frankfurt’s Services division.
Uherek, who has a degree in journalism, started her career at Messe Frankfurt in 2008 as a trainee in the field of Corporate Communications. She took charge of the Marketing Communications for Consumer Goods department for these events in 2011, and according to Messe Frankfurt “will retain temporary responsibility for this department until further notice.”

Julia Uherek will report to Stephan Kurzawski, Senior Vice President of Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH.
