Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA) unveiled a range of new printers at the company’s National Dealer Meeting in Arizona.
The flagship dealer event, entitled “Pulse 2017”, took place from 28 November – 1 December 2017 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort in Phoenix.
During the meeting, Sharp unveiled more than 20 new document systems products, as well as 10 office display products and releases in new categories, such as network storage and office water generation.
The company showcased its new line of ledger-sized monochrome workgroup document systems, which are being launched in December. This range includes 10 models from 30 – 60 ppm, based on the previously released colour Advanced and colour Essentials Series, which are built “on a clean sheet, single-engine design,” and offer users “crisp, high-quality output with exceptional ease of use.” These new devices combine “a seamless user experience” with integrated solutions provided through the easy-to-use touch-screen interface which is common to Sharp’s colour Advanced and colour Essentials Series.
The new monochrome Advanced Series models include the MX-M3070, MX-M3570, MX-M4070, MX-M5070 and MX-M6070 document systems. The new monochrome Essentials Series models include the MX-M3050, MX-M3550, MX-M4050, MX-M5050 and MX-M6050 document systems. Additionally, Sharp announced two new 26 ppm ledger-size, entry-level workgroup models, one colour model available in December and one monochrome model, which will be available in the spring. Both models are based on Sharp’s Essentials Series and offer a similar feature set.
Sharp also displayed its new line of letter/legal size monochrome desktop document systems, which include two Advanced Series models, available in December –- two Essentials Series models and two printer models that will be available in the spring. The two models in each series will have print speeds of 35 ppm and 45 ppm. The MX-B355W and MX-B455W Advanced Series models use controller technology from Sharp’s new ledger-size monochrome Advanced Series, offering high productivity and strong features, all in a small, compact design.
The MX-B355W and MX-B455W models also offer out-of-the-box copy, print scan and fax capabilities and come equipped with Sharp’s multi-layered security suite, which includes 256-bit data encryption, up to 10-times data overwrite protection and an End-of-Lease feature, which erases all data and personal information at time of trade in.
Sharp’s new models also come equipped with the newest version of Sharp OSA® technology for easy integration with network applications and cloud services.
Finally, the company displayed its new Pro Series MX-7090N and MX-8090N Color Document Systems, which are to be launched in December and round out Sharp’s high-speed light production product lineup, offering copy and print speeds up to 80 pages per minute. Replacing the MX-6500N and MX-7500N models, these new document systems feature Sharp’s customisable touchscreen display that includes the same familiar interface and controller architecture as the colour Advanced and Essentials Series.
