The OEM has added a new device to its line of WorkForce colour A3 MFPs, ensuring cost-effective colour printing for SMBs and the corporate market.
Epson America today announced the expansion of its corporate colour inkjet line of printers with the new WorkForce Enterprise WF-C17590, which offers 75 ISO ppm. This device has been designed to give consumers and dealers “another affordable colour option alongside the 100 ISO ppm WorkForce Enterprise WF-C20590.
The WF-C17590 is powered by PrecisionCore® Line Head Technology and offers “high-speed production and professional-quality output to meet the productivity and versatility needs of SMB and corporate workgroups.”
“Epson has always valued its channel partners, making it a point to listen and implement their feedback when possible. In fact, we expanded our high-speed color line head printer portfolio to enable partners to offer the range of printing solutions required to stay competitive,” said Larry Trevarthen, director of business imaging, Epson America, Inc. “In addition, we continue to innovate with independent software vendors to ensure compatibility in nearly any document management environment for seamless office workflow and enhanced productivity.”
Epson also revealed that it “has expanded its print management options with solution partners through the Epson Open Platform (EOP), a flexible and customisable program that allows ISVs to meet specific and changing customer requirements as business goals and enterprise IT systems evolve.” The OEM went on to say, “Through Epson’s partnership with Nuance Communications, Inc., Nuance eCopy ShareScan and Equitrac Office/Express software will be fully integrated into the WorkForce Enterprise printer portfolio. Additional partners available through the EOP program include PaperCut, RingdaleÒ5, nddPrint, Preo Analytics, Gespage, and Drivve for seamless integration with web-based enterprise applications.”
The new WorkForce Enterprise WF-C17590 colour MFP is designed to not only deliver “fast speeds” but to offer a high-quality output. It uses up to 50 percent less power than laser printers, “keeps operating costs in check and supports convenient print management solutions.” The printer allows users to print from mobile devices or scan to email or the cloud via its user-friendly touchscreen.
In addition, the printer features a 5350 page maximum paper capacity and dual-head scanner, making it ideal for workgroups “with heavy shared printing requirements.”
The Epson WorkForce Enterprise WF-C17590 will be available January 2018 through participating BTA resellers.
