The official programme for The Recycler Live Seminars, held from 27-30 January 2018 in conjunction with Paperworld 2018, is now available on our website.
A rich and varied selection of seminars awaits, presented by key figures from all areas of the industry.
As you will see from the programme, Managed Print Services is a core theme for this edition of The Recycler Live, reflecting the current expansion on the part of various OEMs into MPS. During the event, attendees will be able to gain the perspective and insights of various industry figures, from analysts such as Peter Mayhew to implementers such as THI Poland and software providers like Nubeprint and PrinCity via talks such as ‘Understanding the Managed Print Services Market’, ‘MPS: Unsustainable long term inefficiency’ and ‘How to gain more profits by selling Managed Print Service compared to stand alone cartridges’.
Unsurprisingly, remanufacturing is also front and centre, with The Recycler’s own David Connett revealing why remanufacturing is a valid twenty first century solution, delivering a range of benefits, including environmental, social and commercial. Eleni Chrysagi from Ecostar will be sharing her insights on the Greek market and explaining how developing a ‘best practice’ approach to cartridge remanufacturing can transform challenges into opportunities. Printer Aide’s Roger Teng will be giving a talk about the dangers of fine particle emissions from printers, how they are formed, what can be done to prevent them and who is to blame, the printer manufacturer or the cartridge remanufacturer? In addition, Romain Letenneur, from WEEELogic, will be laying out the challenges of WEEE compliance and ETIRA’s Vincent van Dijk will be unveiling what lies on the EU’s agenda and the possible repercussions for both the office imaging and remanufacturing sectors.
Social media will also be on the agenda as it is time the remanufacturing industry caught up and took advantage of this essential communication channel. In this vein, Zoltan Matyas will be giving two workshops on digital marketing, one on Sunday and one on Monday – but for these workshops to be a success we require participation on your part. We are calling for The Recycler audience to submit their questions for Zoltan to feature in his workshops and respond with practical solutions. Please email joe.reader@therecycler.com with your questions.
During the programme attendees will also discover “what the Analysts think” – as Andrew Carroll of Keypoint Intelligence talks about the post HP-Samsung deal and what that may mean for the office imaging market and Charlie Brewer of Actionable Intelligence shares his views of the highs and lows of the US market and what might be happening in 2018.
Ideas and opportunities also feature in the programme. Apex’s Serena Wong explores how to seize early opportunities and gain more market shares, while Mark Dawson, founder of The Internet of Printing, returns to the show and shares his insights on creating new revenue streams for channel resellers. Not sure where the market is going? Be sure to catch Tuesday’s “The office print market” presentation.
The programme will conclude with a show review and closing remarks with The Recycler’s Editor and Publisher, Stefanie Unland, joined by Peter Mayhew.
The Recycler Live Seminars will be taking place in the Seminar Theatre, located in the centre of Hall 6.0 at the upcoming Paperworld 2018 hosted by Messe Frankfurt.
