Keypoint marshals resources for common-interest studies

Dec 21, 2017

Keypoint Intelligence – Info Trends has announced that a number of multi-client studies have been completed and more will be published before the end of 2017.

Keypoint Intelligence – InfoTrends’ detailed Multi-Client Studies tackle major industry trends and topics that impact clients and allow countless companies to fund, influence, and receive the research results. Each report is led by a team of consultants who provide key findings and recommendations by delivering in-depth analysis for optimal strategic planning.

Conducting primary research can be inaccessible for many businesses as costs can vary from project to project. While primary data collection is a powerful method for acquiring information, some research projects are just too large to be carried out by all but the largest companies, and some are not feasible at all. By pooling resources with industry peers, these common-interest studies provide multiple companies forward-looking analysis enabling them to obtain business critical information at a fraction of the cost of conducting the study on their own.

There are an array of studies that focus on digital imaging and document solutions, including the following:

IN SEARCH OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES: FINDING THE RIGHT PROSPECTS
This comprehensive report identifies communication spending, usage, trends and dynamics across key industries. The study surveyed communication decision makers in small, medium, and large organizations, across multiple industries, to uncover the key trends and challenges influencing media choice, purchasing requirements, vendor selection, and selling opportunities.

SIZING INK & TONER E-COMMERCE: MAPPING THE IMPACT OF CHINA AND THIRD-PARTY SUPPLIES
Purchasing supplies through e-commerce marketplaces is risky for both OEMs and end users. Preliminary results from InfoTrends’ Business Purchasing Survey show about 20 percent of businesses report they “shop the internet” among the top two ways in which they buy ink and toner cartridges. Among the 20 percent, almost half of those businesses reported issues with product purchases. This study will help ink and toner OEMs better understand the threats the e-commerce marketplace landscape represents.

HIGH SPEED INKJET PRINTER MULTI-CLIENT STUDY
This study is an extensive analysis on the growing opportunity for high speed inkjet printing systems in North America and Western Europe. Results will focus on key application categories including transactional, promotional, publishing, and packaging (primarily folding cartons). Research will include in-depth interviews with 75 existing roll fed and cut sheet inkjet press users as well as a survey with over 300 companies that are considering purchasing a system in the next 6 to 12 months. This report is designed to provide OEMs, paper mills, and finishing equipment vendors with insights for product development decisions and resources for accelerating customer sales.
