R-Jet Tek new Sales Manager

R-Jet Tek has added Andy Martin to its staff as a specialist in ink products. In his capacity as Ink Consultant, Martin will be responsible for business development for the company’s ink products, specifically OCP Inks. R-Jet Tek is OCP’s exclusive North American distributor. According to R-JetTek president, Mike Warner, “R-Jet Tek made a commitment a few years back to be more proactive in our knowledge-sharing efforts to the industry, believing that we will serve our business interests by helping educate those entering the field on better ways to do things. As a company we have been doing a good job educating newcomers about processes, procedures and techniques in ink jet remanufacturing. Now, we are going to share more of what we know about the ink component of remanufacturing and strongly believe Martin’s the man to do it.”

Before joining R-Jet Tek, Andy Martin spent the last 6 years as a Sales Manager for several Colorado Springs companies where he was trained extensively in Sales and Marketing before moving on to R-JetTek. Martin has had the opportunity to travel throughout the U.S. and open new offices in other markets. Working with every aspect of sales from advertising and marketing through new business development has given Martin the chance to become a highly qualified candidate for R-Jet Tek’s sales force. Martin will specialise in ink, equipment, supplies and processes. His responsibility will be to take the R-Jet Tek and the OCP messages to the industry through one-on-one customer contact, as well as group presentations and trade press contributions. Ink workshops in major markets are also planned.

When asked about his plans for his new role, Andy says, “I would like to take R-Jet Tek’s wonderful reputation within the industry and build upon that with the customer service and relational skills I have learned. OCP is an excellent partner to R-Jet Tek with their complete line of quality inks and their vast experience. R-Jet Tek is one of the undisputed leaders in this industry.” He adds, “I’m just very honoured to be associated with them.”

Plans are underway between R-Jet Tek and OCP to formulate a comprehensive strategy to educate the industry about those differences. Watch for future announcements as that plan solidifies.
