Daily Star readers set to cash in on their old mobiles 

 

Daily Star has teamed up with Money 4 UR Mobile, Redeem’s mobile trade-in brand, to create an new partnership which allows their readers to recycle their old phones for cash. Launched this week (11th June), the promotion will be supported through extensive print and online activity.   

Readers can participate through a number of media and can call, text or go on-line to request a freepost envelope in which to return their handsets.  A fully branded website, www.money4urmobile.com/dailystar, allows consumers to instantly check the cashback value of their phones for which payment is made by cheque or BACS.  The campaign offers Daily Star readers up to £150 for each mobile phone. 

Not only the does the partnership bring Daily Star commercial benefits, it also allows them to boost their CSR credentials by doing their bit for the environment.  All handsets will be responsibly recycled or reused diverting potentially harmful waste from landfill, reducing their impact on climate change.

With an estimated 90 million old handsets just lying gathering dust across the UK, Money 4 UR Mobile offers corporate partners the opportunity to add value for their customers through tailored promotions, other successful campaigns include national energy provider British Gas.
