MPS association and conference in the works

Mar 4, 2009

As the Managed Print Services industry develops, companies face a growing need for a structured forum for sharing best practices and for setting standards. In order to facilitate this effort, a formation meeting for the Managed Print Services Association will be held at the 2009 MPS Conference in San Antonio Texas, hosted by the Photizo Group.

“It is an honour to play a part in helping this industry move to the next level, and we look forward to working with others who share our interest in MPS,” said Ed Crowley, founder and president of the Photizo Group.

The objective of the meeting will be to gather ideas regarding the association, identify goals of the organisation, and create a task force to launch the association. The meeting will take place during the last day of the MPS Conference from 4:30 to 6:00 pm.

The first of its kind, this conference is dedicated to MPS decision makers and will provide them with a forum to network and to share their experiences and knowledge with other MPS professionals. The conference features panel discussions, interactive sessions and case studies. Conference speakers are MPS practitioners from a range of companies who bring practical, real world experience. The conference benefits companies that have existing MPS programs and those considering launching an MPS engagement.

The Managed Print Services (MPS) Conference will be held April 26-28, 2009. Xerox is a platinum sponsor for the event, while other sponsors include Printfleet, Print Audit, Print Operations Group Consulting, Netaphor, West Point Products and Axess.
