Krystal Inkz relocates to Malaysia as business is booming

Mar 19, 2010

Krystal Inkz decided to move in September last year to produce more cartridges, introduce toners to its range and remanufacture Epson cartridges, as it previously focused on HP. The company is now able to sell non-European versions of HP cartridges, as well as the European ones.

Krystal Inkz still has a UK presence with offices in Leicester to service smaller clients for finished product and collect empty inkjet cartridges, laser toners, mobile phones and other electronic devices.

The company is still supplying into the UK and Europe and is now also supplying into Malaysia, Thailand and other surrounding areas.

It produces around 60,000 units of inkjets and about 5,000 toners each month, concentrating on best-selling products and mono and colour laser toners.

As Krystal Inkz has just started out in remanufacturing toners, Owner Yusuf Vindhani believes the firm is able to maintain a high quality product and that the 5,000 figure will soon grow.

“We believed that we could expand at a quicker rate in Malaysia than we could in the UK. We also knew that we could employ more staff which would allow us to have more stringent procedures to ensure consistent high quality products,” said Vindhani.

Krystal Inkz are authorised distributors for Bowajet Cart Clips and supplies in the UK and are exclusive distributors for them in Malaysia. Recycler Magazine profiled the company in March last year.
