The hardware store says that “customer demand and an increasing shift toward environmentally conscious daily living choices” is the main reason behind the initiative.
Manager at Weiss Karen Kolod said: “After we installed INK-O-DEM’s cartridge refilling system, we wanted to give our customers an incentive to get started. Thus, Free Ink Week was born, and we are looking forward to serving our customers in yet another way that saves them money and is good for the environment.”
The store’s Account Manager Tom Price said: “We are committed to working with our ‘ACE Base’ to help them succeed with INK-O-DEM’s Cartridge Refilling System, and Free Ink Week is just one way we can respond to the high demand for our landfill-saving, affordable inkjet refills.
Weiss ACE Hardware is located at 1560 Waukegan Road in Glenview, IL.
INK-O-DEM provides inkjet cartridge refilling and testing technology for retail and university environments, refilling over five million cartridges a year. It is a subsidiary of 20-year-old TonerHead and has a presence in thousands of locations in the US, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
