New Xerox multifunction printer and seven updates to current series

The WorkCentre 7120 color MFP prints colour and black-and-white documents such as presentations and budget charts up to 20 pager-per-minute (ppm).

Currently available around the world, and in the Americas next month, Xerox says the new machine is “equipped with advanced document management features that add convenience and make office work easier”.

Priced at $6,999, the WorkCentre 7120 color MFP boasts: document routing to email, network and content management software simultaneously for repeatable workflows; advanced colour scanning up to 55 ppm; faxing over IP, fax forward to email and scan to or print from USB; Xerox Auditron monitors printing costs.

According to Xerox, it also helps customers to reduce their environmental impact because it: is one of the most compact hallway colour MFPs; consumes 3.08 watts in sleep mode; route and preview incoming documents on the interface or at PC to eliminate needless printing; and the Earth Smart print driver defaults include two-side printing with no banner pages.

President of Global Product Delivery Group at Xerox Rick Dastin said: “Today’s MFPs do far more than copy and print – they improve the way work gets done. The WorkCentre 7120 helps SME’s maximize office productivity and produce affordable, impactful color documents.”

Xerox is also updating its line of black-and-white MFPs. The WorkCentre 5700 Series includes seven new MFPs that Xerox says handle everything from general office documents to high-volume print jobs.

Starting at $7,475, the MFPs can print up to 90 ppm; print, copy, scan or fax without interruption; scan in colour; and move to the next job if the first job is held up due to lack of resources with the Print Around feature.

“With advanced document security and workflow tools, the WorkCentre 5700 Series can help IT departments solve their most difficult document management challenges,” said Dastin.

The additions to the WorkCentre 5700 Series will be available worldwide in May.
