New MPS suite analyses and manages end-user print behaviour

Printelligence MPS Solutions Suite uses a process called Print Optimisation 2.0 to capture key end-user, local-printer, print server and area coverage data cost effectively. These, according to Preo, are tasks that “historically have been a challenge for service providers”.

The company adds that the new service allows MPS providers “to develop a highly flexible change-management service for clients who want to gain control of print usage at the end-user level”. This will cut costs and increase efficiency without affecting the end-user in a negative way.

Preo’s MPS offering will be available in two configurations:

Printelligence MPS, which implements a comprehensive Print Optimization 2.0 service from “assessment to print behaviour change management and reporting”. It also includes multi-tiered “federation” of data, which Preo says is a “critical requirement for MPS providers to remotely manage large numbers of customers often with multiple sites, in multiple channels”.

Printelligence MPS-Assessment is designed for the “silent capture of baseline user-centric print behaviour data”. The service provider says that it is intended “for both pre-sale engagements as well as ongoing data-collection and reporting”. This solution is available in a print server only and/or desktop configuration for mass deployment capability.

Printelligence MPS Solutions Suite will be marketed worldwide to MPS providers, and will not be sold directly to end-user customers.
