MSE makes changes to management teams

May 6, 2010

Jeff Rey has been appointed Quality Control Manager, overseeing MSE’s quality and reliability at MSE’s sole manufacturing plant in California.

Rey has 19 years of industry experience and has worked for several large cartridge remanufacturers around the world. He has specialized in colour cartridge research and development.

He has also played a part in multiple tool inventions and bulk component carrying systems used in colour manufacturing as well as several conversion systems for Canon and HP products.

Rey said: “While working for other large cartridge manufacturers, I always used MSE cartridges in Research and Development facilities for standard life test benchmarking. Now, I finally have the opportunity to work for the absolute best company, with the best people and help them continue to make the world’s best cartridges.

“In my 19 years of cartridge experience, I have never worked with such talented individuals.  MSE has the reputation of having the best cartridge in the remanufacturing business, after being here for a short period of time I realize why.”

Promotions into management teams

MSE also announced that it has promoted Gil Wazana to Vice President of Sales at US and Latin America and Bob Tury to Senior Director of East Coast Sales and Distribution.

Wazana has been at MSE for 13 years and the firm says that he had “already taken on many of the roles that are typical of a VP of Sales”.

Tury has worked at the compatibles company for five years and has hired and managed a “great” team.

Senior Vice President at MSE Luke Goldberg said: “Both Gil Wazana and Bob Tury have a proven track record of success here at MSE. I have total confidence that they will excel in their newly appointed roles.

“Gil’s cross training in multiple other departments combined with a stellar work ethic, intelligence, dedication, and a thirst for continual improvement makes him ideally suited to thrive in this position.

“Bob has achieved consistent excellence both in sales and operations. [His] responsibilities will not change much since as was the case with Gil, he is already filling the role that his new title indicates. Bob’s former title was never illustrative of the responsibilities that Bob takes on for the PA office.”
