Formerly known as Australian Cartridge Company Franchising, Cartridge World Pty developed the Cartridge World franchise system.
The anonymous source explained that he found the information from the Australian equivalent of UK government registration site Companies House.
He said: “Cartridge World has not made any announcements to its franchisees in the UK. Cartridge World UK will not discuss the overseas affairs of its ultimate parent company or other parties within the franchise group.
“They feel the franchisees do not need to know, despite the fact that the franchisees are in effect its investors and many have invested their life savings and pensions into their business.”
Cartridge World UK General Manager Mark Holland said: “This was a clean up action. The company was an old shell company owned by the original owners. It was never bought by the current owners and has nothing to do with the trading entity that owns the system or brand nor has anything to do with the company named in the franchise agreements.”
