The FS-3040MFP and FS-3140 MFP monochrome laser MFPs print up to 40 pages per minute in 1200 dpi, with first page out in seven seconds.
Designed to support busy office workgroups, the MFPs have a maximum paper input of 2,000 sheets plus a 100 sheet multipurpose tray to enable the use of non-standard media up to a maximum weight of 220gsm. Long print runs are facilitated with the 500-sheet output tray.
Both devices can scan at up to 600 dpi in monochrome and colour, which Kyocera says enables them to easily integrate with document workflow systems.
The new printers have been developed according to the ECOSYS design concept. A positively charged print roller ensures that the devices do not generate ozone, while the toner-only system reportedly minimises waste. Both devices incorporate duplex functionality as standard, which reduces paper consumption.
Jonathan Robbins, Product Manager for Kyocera UK, said: “With the FS-3040MFP and FS-3140MFP we have taken the reliability and cost effectiveness of Kyocera’s high speed printer range and combined them with the professional functionality of the FS-1028/1128MFP to create a compact high speed multifunctional A4 device.
“This is an attractive proposition for customers who have high document volumes and need straightforward and accessible hardware with exceptionally low running costs.”
The printers are available from Kyocera Mita’s business partners. The FS-3040 is priced at £2,590 and the FS-3140 at £2,790.
