Charity partnership continues to flourish for Embatex and Red Noses

Aug 16, 2010

The charity distributes cartridge collection boxes to businesses, schools, and other public facilities. Embatex collects the full boxes and donates to Red Noses for every box received, donating €47,000 since 2009 alone.

Embatex CEO Christian Wernhart said: “We think the charity is a great, creative idea and we are happy to support it. Their clown doctors help children and other patients to recover faster with humour, similar to the movie Patch Adams.”

He continued: “Since we began working with them in 2003, we’ve donated around €180,000, which lets them continue to help people. In return, we receive a supply of cartridges, and that’s very important.”

Red Noses Clowndoctors International (RNI, also known as Rote Nasen) is an international charity that provides special “clown doctors” to hospitals to help both child and adult patients recover with the power of laughter.

Founded in 1994, today the charity helps tens of thousands of patients every year. Visit their website for more information on their work.

Founder Monica Culen said: “This free collection system has been a major backing for the Rote Nasen Group and constitutes an important and consisting basis funding. Since 2003 we have a strong and reliable partner by our side with Embatex AG”

See the upcoming September issue of The Recycler magazine for more about how the partnership helps Embatex and RNI.
