According to Sun Chemical, Murray brings 27 years of industry experience and knowledge to the position and had been in his previous role since 2004.
Prior to joining Sun Chemical in 1998, Murray ran multiple packaging print converters across Europe for Courtaulds Plc. He also worked as the Managing Director of a flexible packaging converter, where he grew the business significantly and helped the company become the preferred supplier to many well-known food manufacturers.
Murray replaces Brian Leen, who is leaving the graphic arts industry after an 18 year career at Sun Chemical. Leen led the company’s North American business since 2008.
Rudi Lenz, President and CEO at Sun Chemical, said: “Charles is very familiar with the issues and challenges currently impacting Sun Chemical’s customers in North America, because those same trends are facing our customers in Northern Europe.
“Charles’ understanding of our markets and his hands-on leadership style is exactly what NAI needs. I am confident he will further strengthen our business and the partnerships with our customers.”
