Dec 17, 2010

The company describes the Printabz program as “Asia’s first vendor neutral comprehensive best-in-class MPS solution”. It incorporates print device discovery capabilities, print environment monitoring, error reporting, automated supplies replenishment, print audit, service fulfillment management, and technical support.

Printabz reportedly differs from OEM Solutions like Jet Admin by using 128 bit SSL to connect clients to their service providers on a secure platform.

The company says that the biggest change will be printer service moving away from reactive maintenance to proactive preventive maintenance.

Ashwin Krishna Raj, CEO of Avenir Peripheral Solutions, said: “We are the only company worldwide to have developed and packaged all of the components (Print Device monitoring through Printabz and Print User management through Printlogz) required to deliver a successful and complete managed print experience to the end-user.

“The Printabz program equips the reseller with an end-to-end suite of products that encompasses, cutting edge proprietary software and an comprehensive internal MPS infrastructure that provides support through the entire MPS sales and support lifecycle.”

Raj is also a member of the education committee of Managed Print Services Association in the US.

He added: “We are excited to participate in the HP AllianceONE program. We have invested heavily to build the infrastructure that supports our resellers. Our MPS solution, infrastructure, and execution capabilities and support provide one of the most compelling and competitive MPS program in the market.”
