INKredible launch cartridge iPhone app

Dec 23, 2010

Based in Darlington, INKredible provides remanufactured and compatible ink and toner cartridges, and invested in the app as a way of capturing customers in need of a fast service.

INKredible Managing Director, Darren Pegram, told the Northern Echo: “We believe we are the first in our sector to offer our customers an iPhone app designed to grow our market share by retaining those customers who we might otherwise lose to a traditional retailer when they need a fast turnaround.”

Newcastle software firm hedgehog lab created the application.

Mark Forster, Co-Founder of hedgehog lab, said: “Offering customers every available platform on which to place their order makes sound commercial sense for an online business.

“The app has just been listed on the App Store and all indications are that it is set to be very popular.”

iPhone apps have become an increasingly popular tool in the industry today. Mobile Phone Recycling launched their own app last month allowing customers to easily find and compare phone collection companies.
