Joseph Wu, President of Californian remanufacturer Green Project, has confirmed that his company’s range of Epson inkjets has not been affected by the recent legal settlement with Epson.
As The Recycler reported, Green Project and Epson have ended their legal battle after becoming entangled in a two year case which saw the OEM’s initial accusations of IP violation countered with claims of corporate espionage.
Yesterday the two companies released a joint statement on their “amicable” settlement, which saw all claims from both sides dismissed with prejudice.
Wu explained that further details on the settlement could not be revealed, due to its confidential nature, but added: “However, what I can say is that Green Project still continues to offer the full line of Epson reman cartridges and we have not stopped selling any product models.
“All our cartridges are fully legal to sell and will not have issues for our customers.”
