Jero launches auto-filling machine

The refill machine and kit manufacturer has released the Autofillomat V2.0, an automatic refill device for single ink cartridges.

The machine is said by the company to be a “world first” that will “revolutionize the filling of single ink cartridges”, with a projected speed of 150 cartridges per hour, and does not require any manual
refilling.

Jero added that the machine is capable of use with more than 55 Canon and HP inkjet cartridges, and features adjustable filling speeds as well as a host of other features, including production accuracy of 0.03mm.

The Autofillomat V2.0 is the result of 12 months’ research and development from Jero, and is operated by a pedal switch. The kit with the product includes the machine, all inserts for use with cartridges from the different OEMs, four syringes and four supply pipes.

Jero added that for the machine to work, users must have a constant pressure of six bar, volume pressure of 120, and an oil-free, dry and clean air-pressure environment.

In terms of hourly costs, Jero estimates that the machine’s hourly rate is 0,91 EUR, which is based on an operating time of eight hours a day for 200 days, meaning the price per refill unit is 0,006 EUR when refilling 150 cartridges an hour.
