Independent print supplier Altodigital has partnered with UK football club Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, according to Dealer Support.
The premier league club will be have its entire operation reviewed by Altodigital, with an aim to reducing the club’s printing costs.
Altodigital will be reducing Wolves’ current collection of 50 or so printers to just 12 Kyocera multifunction machines, with the company also providing managed print
services.
Paul Lakin, head of commercial affairs, Wolverhampton Wanderers, explains: “We operate our business with a very careful eye on the details. In the run up to the new season we analysed our entire business and found that we were operating a vast number of printers and photocopiers, and a mismatch of technologies that wasn’t serving our needs at all.
“We have a daily requirement for printing documents, everything from back office filing through to daily team sheets for the players. By adding Altodigital to our squad we have not only saved ourselves a considerable sum, but we have also increased our green credentials in one strike.”
Tim Hubbard, Altodigital regional sales director said: “One of the main concerns for Wolves was consolidating its existing print technology, enabling the Club to better control costs and also support. Wolves also needed the ability to remote monitor its print fleet across the main Club, retail store outlets, back office and training ground.”
European champions Barcelona FC likewise aimed to cut down printing costs with an MPS solution earlier this year, hoping to reduce the multimillion pound debt.
