Australian cartridge scandal implicates 10 health locations

10 health locations have been implicated in the expanding Australian printer cartridge scandal.

Following developments in the Australian printer cartridge scandal, invoices leaked by the Opposition have revealed at least 10 health locations are implicated in the scheme, including Central Northern Adelaide Health Service, Royal Adelaide Hospital and Parks Community Centre, Adelaide Now has reported.

This follows a statement made by South Australian Health Chief Executive David Swan, who told a parliamentary committee only three sites were involved.

The invoices reveal public servants were spending as much as seven times the price of cartridges, to whit in return received digital devices, supermarket vouchers and movie tickets.

Opposition finance spokesman Rob Lucas called for a full inquiry, commenting: “It is now clear this scandal is spiralling out of control as every week, more departments and staff are implicated,” claiming the behaviour as a “damning” reflection on the Government’s financial management.
