Francis Clark has donated 12 high quality printers to the Cornwall Community Foundation, to be allocated to local volunteer-led groups.
Accountancy firm Francis Clark has donated 12 high quality printers, along with other IT equipment, to the Cornwall Community Foundation, following an excess after a merger with Winter Rule.
Amy Smith, Marketing and Events Co-ordinator, Francis Clark, commented: “As a result of the Winter Rule-Francis Clark merger earlier this year, we ended up with some surplus equipment, including these 12 printers. We didn’t want to just throw them away, as they’re all in perfect working order, so we contacted the Cornwall Community Foundation to see if they could help.
“They support a network of community groups across Cornwall so we knew that they would be able to find people who could really put them to good use, and hopefully it will come as a nice Christmas boost to the groups which receive them.”
Carolyn Boyce, CEO, Cornwall Community Foundation, added: “The printers will be going to volunteer-led groups in Cornwall which are working towards making a positive impact in their local communities. When Francis Clark asked if we would be able to help find new homes for the printers, we were happy to assist, as there are a lot of organisations that would never be able to afford such good quality equipment without our help.”
Cornwall Community Foundation, a support charity for small organisations, has invited requests from groups or organisations looking to procure one of the printers.
