Ink specialist appoints Dr Vicky Verona as Head Chemist in the growing team of “inkologists” in Sheffield.
Diamond Dispersions has announced the appointment of Dr Vicky 
Verona as Head Chemist, and will lead the company’s growing team of “inkologists” at the company’s plant in Sheffield.
A specialist ink chemist, Verona has extensive education in chemical sciences, with tenure at the University of Colorado, Scottish College of Textiles and the London College of Printing. Her background includes time with Sun Chemical as a technologist and Vivimed Labs as an applications chemist.
Verona commented: “When I heard about the position at Diamond, I couldn’t believe my luck. I’d given up hope finding a role as an ink chemist with a local ink manufacturer simply because the region has never geographically attracted such businesses.
“Diamond is a highly successful business and I see many opportunities to grow the company and contribute to that success. One of my future tasks will be to expand and improve our UV dispersions range. This is a complex but growing area of the global ink industry and I know Diamond can make a profitable mark in this particular sector.”
