Owner opens his third Cartridge World branch in spite of difficult economic climate.
The Bognor Regis Observer reports that Graham Burgess has chosen Bognor Regis, a UK seaside town, as an additional location for a Cartridge World store after receiving a significant number of customers from the town at one of his additional Cartridge World stores in nearby Littlehampton.
The new store is due to open in September, with Burgess investing £30,000 to fit the property with counter and shop fittings. Two full-time members of staff are to be employed to oversee the day-to-day running of the store, with Burgess employing nine full-time staff overall and a part-time driver to help run his three stores, situated in Littlehampton, Goring-by-Sea and Bognor Regis.
Burgess commented: “I love Bognor. I have a lot of customers that come from Bognor to my shop in Littlehampton […] that led me to make the brave move in the current economic climate to open my third shop.”
According to the article, Bognor Regis has recently experienced negative impacts from the poor economic climate, with several local businesses being forced to close, with Burgess commenting: “It’s very sad. I think Bognor is such a great town, like Littlehampton and Worthing. I’m really excited to be opening my third store there.”
