Remanufacturer of printer parts makes the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies in the US for fifth consecutive year.

Inc. magazine has included Metrofuser in its list of 5,000 fastest growing private companies in the US, with the company ranking 4,156 after seeing a three year growth of 31 percent in spite of the recession.

It is the fifth consecutive year that Metrofuser has featured on the list, although it has fallen from its highest rank of 470 in 2008 and last year’s rank of 3,411.  According to Metrofuser, it is rare for companies to be listed multiple times, and many companies that have previously appeared on the list have grown to become national icons.

Eric Katz, Chief Financial Officer at Metrofuser, which remanufactures and distributes laser printer parts, remanufactured printers and offers service training for HP, Lexmark and Canon printers, commented: “Between opening up a West Coast Distribution Center, expanding our footprint in New Jersey and adding remanufactured printers to our catalogue, we’ve had an incredibly busy four years.

“To be recognized by Inc. in all of those years and in an unfriendly economic climate is a source of pride for us and a testament to our commitment to always being ahead of the curve in product development and offering the highest quality remanufactured parts in our business.”

Metrofuser is listed as having achieved a revenue of $6 million (€4.7 million) in 2011, an increase on its 2008 revenue of $4.6 million (€3.6 million), and currently has 52 employees.

The Recycler reported in May that Metrofuser added a customer portal to its website, enabling customers to order parts online easily. The company also launched a printer help desk in January of this year to offer more support to its customers.
