Printer and cartridge supplier moves centre to Greenock, Scotland, creating eight jobs.
KMP, a Germany-based supplier of printers and compatible cartridges, has relocated its UK sales and distribution centre to Greenock, Scotland, reports Inverclydenow.
The new site will provide the UK with products including toner and ink cartridges, thermal ribbons and printer ribbons, as well as being the UK base for recycling used cartridges. A trade counter has also been opened at the centre, enabling local businesses and members of the public to buy the company’s products at discount prices and earn money by returning empty cartridges.
Stewart Gunn, who will be managing the Greenock centre commented: “We are delighted to be investing in Inverclyde and creating jobs.
“We will also be adding general office supplies to our operation here.”
The Recycler reported in April that KMP planned to realign its sales team, uniting its Kings Lynn and Greenock sites to concentrate its sales force.
