Product sets for Samsung, HP and Kyocera cartridges now available from components manufacturer.
Absolute Black toner and components are available for Samsung’s ML-2160, 2165 SCX-3405 and SF-760 MFP models, which Uninet describes as “very basic and compact” devices with print speeds of 21ppm. The printers use the MLT-D101S toner cartridge, which is rated at 1,500 pages, and the devices are available globally from $70 (€53.94).
The first of the two Absolute Colour ranges from Uninet this month is designed for use in HP’s CP6015 and CM6030 and 6040 MFP printers. The “high-end” devices have print speeds of 30 and 40ppm, with customizable paper trays, staplers and other features, and toner cartridges are rated at 19,500 pages in black and 21,000 pages for colour.
Uninet notes that the CB390A (black) is available for $65 (€50.09) and the CB381A, 382A and 383A (colours) for $360 (€277.43) each, with drum cartridges separate and featuring a yield of 23,000 pages. The black drum cartridges are sold for $132 (€101.72) and the colours at $374 (€288.22).
The company states that it offers “a complete remanufacturing solutions for these cartridges”, as these “high end printers can become very costly to operate for the end user, therefore this presents a good and profitable opportunity for remanufacturers”.
The second Absolute Colour toner and component set is designed for use in Kyocera’s FS C5250 printer, which features a print speed of 28ppm and an “easy to remanufacture” cartridge that only needs replacement of toner in “typical usage conditions”.
The device’s cartridges, the TK-590, 592 and 594, are rated at 7,000 pages for black and 5,000 for colour, with each cartridge costing $90 (€69.35), meaning that the cost per page, according to Uninet, is only $0.012 (€0.009) for black and $0.018 (€0.014) for colours, a “very low cost per copy for colour printing compared to other OEM manufacturers”.
